SynapseAudit is built as an offline-first extension.
Core analysis executes locally inside VS Code and does not depend on cloud connectivity. This allows the extension to function reliably in:
Local development environments
Restricted corporate networks
Air-gapped or security-sensitive setups
Situations where internet access is unavailable or undesirable
Optional online capabilities exist to extend functionality, but they are not required for standard analysis. Local execution remains the foundation of the tool.
