An external AI API key is configured
The key is valid and active
The AI provider is reachable
Usage limits have not been exceeded
AI is invoked only when explicitly requested.
If no AI action was triggered, no AI request will occur.
If AI fails:
Core analysis will still complete
Findings will still be available
Only AI-enhanced explanations will be missing
